Today was SUCH a strange day.
I got up and started tidying up the house again and finalized my plans for the evening. Then something happened that I could have sworn was a dream... and not the good kind either. I was killing time on facebook and I saw one of mine and Joes friends posted that he'd been involved in an accident and needed all the prayers we could muster. I guess I just chose not to believe it and left to meet up with Lisa and Brittany from my ward. We saw Captain America in theaters which was pretty phenomenal and it was great to get out with some girlfriends even if it was just for a couple hours.
And then reality stepped in like it does at the most inopportune moments. I got a text from Camilla confirming what I had so desperately tried to avoid hours earlier. So I immediately called her back and started crying. She assured me the doctors think he'll be just fine, but for the time being he's got 4 skull fractures and is in a coma. If you're reading this, please just say a little prayer that he'll be alright and his family will be at peace. It's not an easy thing. After I got off the phone with her I wandered around aimlessly in the grocery store and probably bought way too many unnecessary things, And as I was checking out I got another call from Cris asking me to hang out with him and his friends. Like I said, strange day. scare, happy, sad, ecstatic.... oh emotions, you suck.
So I went home and they came to pick me up and we went to some haunted neighborhood, it was kinda creepy and very very fun. Then we all came back to my house and watched Despicable Me and the whole time I thought about the first time I watched it at the Jensen's house and they were all quoting the whole time, it was such fun. I always had the best times with their family. Anyway, That's all for today.
